Description -

Immigration supports the regional immigration function by managing day-to-day case processing, ensuring compliance, and delivering a positive employee experience. This role works closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Management, Payroll, Legal, and external immigration vendors to facilitate smooth and timely immigration processes.

Responsibilities-

1. Case Management

  • Handle end-to-end immigration cases for employees in the region for non-immigrant and immigrant visa processes (work permits, visas, amendments, renewals, and green cards).
  • Liaise with employees, managers, and HR partners to ensure accurate and timely case progression.
  • Maintain records and track case status using internal systems.
  • Ensure all immigration processes comply with US immigration laws and company policies.
  • Prepare and maintain Labor Condition Applications (LCA), public access files, and other regulatory documentation.
  • Track visa expirations, I‑94 validity, work authorization constraints and knowledge in I-9 verification/re-verification.
  • Conduct audits of immigration files and ensure accuracy of documentation.

  • Ensure all immigration processes comply with US immigration laws and company policies.

3. Employee & Stakeholder Advisory

  • Provide guidance to employees and managers on immigrant and non-immigrant visa options, timelines, risks, and required actions.
  • Communicate changes in immigration policies and implications to internal stakeholders.

4. Vendor Coordination

  • Work closely with immigration attorneys and external legal firms on case strategy and filings.
  • Ensure timely submission of petitions to avoid gaps in work authorization.
  • Prepare regular reports on case status, visa population, expiries, RFE trends, and compliance metrics.
  • Generate periodic reports for HR leadership summarizing trends, risks, and upcoming deadlines.

5. Reporting

Qualifications-

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Law, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
