Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to identify and qualify potential customers, generate new business opportunities, and support the sales pipeline. The SDR will be responsible for outbound prospecting, initial engagement, and setting qualified meetings for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify target prospects and decision-makers within defined industries
- Conduct outbound outreach via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria (need, budget, authority, timeline)
- Generate and schedule qualified sales meetings or demos
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity in CRM
- Follow up with inbound inquiries and marketing-generated leads
- Build and nurture relationships with potential clients
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to improve messaging and targeting
- Meet or exceed monthly activity and pipeline generation targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
- 0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in cold calling and outreach
- Ability to handle objections and maintain persistence
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
