Job Description

Basic Purpose

We are seeking a results-driven Healthcare Recruiter – Travel Allied to support high-volume recruiting across the US healthcare staffing market. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and placing qualified Allied Healthcare professionals (e.g., Radiology Techs, Therapists, Lab Technicians, etc.) into travel assignments across the US.

This role requires strong expertise in full-cycle recruitment, candidate relationship management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Domain Expertise - Strong understanding of Travel Allied Healthcare roles, including but not limited to:

  • Radiology & Imaging:
  • CT Technologist (CT Tech)
  • MRI Technologist (MRI Tech)
  • X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Tech)
  • Ultrasonographer / Sonographer
  • Therapy Services:
  • Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
  • Cardio-Pulmonary & Critical Care:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Laboratory & Clinical Roles:
  • Medical Lab Technician (MLT)
  • Medical Technologist (MT)
  • Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS)
  • Strong knowledge of US licensure, compliance, and credentialing requirements across states
  • Understanding of travel assignment dynamics, including pay packages, shift alignment, and location preferences
  • Familiarity with high-demand specialties, market bill rates, and candidate availability trends
  • Ability to align candidate skills with client-specific requirements and compliance standards

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Source candidates through job boards (Indeed, Vivian, LinkedIn, etc.), ATS, referrals, and ATS mining
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess experience, certifications, and travel readiness
  • Build long-term relationships with candidates to drive redeployment and repeat placements

 

 

Essential Function

 

·      Execute end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for Travel Allied roles, including sourcing, screening, submission, and placement

·      Source and build a continuous pipeline of qualified Allied Healthcare professionals using job portals, ATS, referrals, and networking

·      Conduct candidate screening and qualification calls to evaluate clinical skills, certifications, experience, and travel readiness

·      Present and submit candidate profiles to hiring managers/clients within defined turnaround times

·      Coordinate interviews, feedback, and offer discussions, ensuring timely closures

·      Manage offer negotiation and candidate acceptance, aligning compensation, location, and assignment expectations

·      Maintain consistent candidate engagement and relationship management to drive redeployment and repeat placements

·      Track and update all recruitment activities in ATS/CRM systems with high data accuracy

·      Meet and exceed defined KPIs (submissions, placements, conversion ratios, revenue contribution)

·      Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Onboarding, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth candidate onboarding and start

·      Stay updated on US healthcare market trends, pay rates, and in-demand Allied specialties

  • Proactively identify and address pipeline gaps, demand fluctuations, and hiring challenges

 

Experience

  • 1–5+ years of experience in US Healthcare Recruitment (Allied/Travel preferred)
  • Proven track record in high-volume staffing or agency recruitment

 

Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

QUALIFICATIONS

·      Minimum 3–5+ years of related experience, preferably in US Healthcare Recruitment with a focus on Allied / Travel Allied staffing

·      Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, qualifying, submission, and placement

·      Strong understanding of Allied Healthcare roles, market dynamics, and candidate pipelines

·      Experience working with US clients, compliance requirements, and credentialing processes

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

 

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and sufficient experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

WORK CONDITIONS

·      Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, while maintaining a calm demeanor during stressful situations.

·      Must be able to work in a cubicle setting where distractions don't interfere with completing job tasks and meeting metrics.

·      Must be able to work in a flexible US schedule including weekend hours, as needed.

·      The job is mostly sedentary with casual trips to the copier, scanner, etc.
