Job Title: US Contracting & Onboarding Specialist
Location: Pune, India (Hybrid / Remote)
Shift: US Shift (Evening/Night IST)
Role Overview
We are looking for a US Staffing HR/Onboarding Specialist with strong experience in contract creation and offer release (W2/C2C/1099). This role will be responsible for managing the post-selection process, ensuring seamless onboarding and compliance for candidates placed with US clients.
Key Responsibilities
Contracting & Offer Management
- Prepare and release W2, C2C, and 1099 contracts for selected candidates
- Validate pay rates, bill rates, start dates, and client details before releasing offers
- Ensure accuracy and quick turnaround in offer rollouts
Onboarding & Documentation
- Manage end-to-end onboarding process for US-based consultants
- Share and track offer letters, NDAs, and onboarding documents
- Follow up with candidates to ensure timely joining and document completion
Compliance & Verification
- Handle I-9 documentation and onboarding compliance
- Initiate and track background verification processes
- Ensure all onboarding documentation is audit-ready and compliant
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with recruiters, account managers, and candidates
- Act as a bridge between internal teams and consultants during onboarding
- Resolve onboarding-related queries and escalations
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in US Staffing (HR/Onboarding/Contracting)
- Hands-on experience in releasing W2/C2C/1099 contracts
- Strong understanding of:
- US employment types (W2, C2C, 1099)
- Basic onboarding compliance (I-9, documentation)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in US shift
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ATS/VMS tools such as Bullhorn, Ceipal, JobDiva, Fieldglass
- Experience handling multiple onboarding cases simultaneously
- Exposure to timesheets/payroll coordination
