Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant - US Audit & Compliance Associate with strong expertise in US Audit, Reviews, and Compilation procedures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in US GAAP and audit methodologies, along with the ability to lead engagements, manage client communications, and ensure timely execution of deliverables. This role demands strong technical knowledge combined with leadership and communication skills to manage audit processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage US audits and compilation assignments in line with US GAAP standards.
  • Stay updated with US GAAP and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and high-quality service delivery.
  • Lead and review the work of trainees/junior team members, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Handle client communications professionally, providing updates, clarifications, and reports as required.
  • Plan and execute audit engagements, ensuring timely completion with quality standards.
  • Prepare detailed working papers, audit documentation, and reports as per US audit procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective workflow and resolution of client queries.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Chartered Accountant with 3 years of relevant experience in US Audit and Compliance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, US audit procedures, reviews, and compilation.
  • Proven ability in work planning, execution, and leadership of audit assignments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in training/mentoring junior staff.
  • Exposure to working with US clients and familiarity with their reporting standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
