Role: Accounts Executive
Job Responsibilities:
- Generate, issue, and track client invoices with proper terms and PO matching
- Monitor accounts and incoming payments, ensuring timely collections and follow-ups
- Regularly review aging reports, flag risks, and follow up on overdue accounts
- Resolve billing disputes
- Prepare monthly AR reports, audit documentation, and reconciliations
- Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions and supporting documentation
- Enter bills and related transactions accurately into the accounting system.
- Attach and maintain sufficient support documents and backups for all transactions.
- Handle emails and calls with vendors and utility departments to resolve queries or discrepancies.
- Ability to create spreadsheets, collecting appropriate vendor documentation and setting vendors up in system
- Review and verify payables for accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in US-based Accounting and AR
- Strong understanding of invoice management, collections, and reconciliation
- Experience working with QuickBooks Desktop will be an advantage
- Exceptional Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
