Description
We are seeking a skilled US Accountant to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in US accounting practices and will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with US GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate reporting.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in US Accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
