Role Description This is a full-time, on-site US Accounting role located in Delhi, India. The team member will support US-based clients with daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including recording journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing accurate financial statements. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. The role involves working with various accounting software platforms used by US businesses, ensuring compliance with US accounting standards, and supporting tax preparation activities as needed. The person in this role will collaborate closely with senior accountants and client teams, provide analytical insights on financial data, and maintain strict data security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and analysis.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software and Journal Entries (Accounting), with hands-on experience in commonly used US platforms.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Understanding of US GAAP and US tax concepts; prior experience working with US clients or US accounting processes is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple client engagements.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
  • Commitment to data security, confidentiality, and adherence to internal quality and compliance standards.
