Job Overview

We are looking for a US Accounting & Compliance Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance activities for US-based business operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with US accounting principles, reconciliations, financial records, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day US accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare and maintain journal entries, general ledger, AP/AR, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing and reporting.
• Support preparation and maintenance of financial statements and accounting schedules.
• Ensure accounting records comply with US GAAP and applicable US regulations.
• Assist with US tax and regulatory compliance activities and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, accountants, auditors, and external stakeholders as required.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support audits and provide required financial documentation.
• Stay updated on relevant US accounting, tax, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• 1–5 years of experience in US Accounting / US Finance / Accounting & Compliance.
• Good understanding of US GAAP and US accounting practices.
• Experience with General Ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Familiarity with US tax/compliance processes.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems is preferred.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work 7 PM–4 AM IST and work onsite in Gurugram.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter or equivalent.
• Experience supporting US-based clients or companies is highly preferred.
