Job Summary:
This position is responsible for managing the release and deployment lifecycle of mission-critical global applications. The role involves supporting production systems, improving continuous integration and deployment processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and administering source control and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage release cycles and deployment processes across environments
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide break-fix support
- Improve CI/CD processes to streamline deployments
- Ensure high availability and performance of 24/7 global applications and services
- Collaborate with software engineering, QA, infrastructure, and support teams to meet environment needs
- Work closely with enterprise architecture and engineering leadership to optimize system architecture
- Administer source control systems and manage branching/merging strategies
- Maintain and enhance build automation tools
- Optimize and manage build/deployment pipelines
- Document development and release processes using Atlassian tools
