Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to join our team at a Chartered Accountancy firm. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the firm. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Tally is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and Data Entry:

Record financial transactions accurately in Tally.

Maintain ledgers, invoices, and other financial documents.

Financial Reporting

Prepare and update financial reports and statements.

Assist in preparing tax returns, GST filings, and other statutory requirements.

Document Management

Organize and manage financial records in Word and Excel.

Ensure all documentation is up to date and easily accessible.

Reconciliation

Perform bank reconciliations and verify discrepancies.

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable records.

Administrative Support

Assist with client communication and coordination.

Support the team with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
