We are currently hiring for the role of an Accountant with a Leading CA firm based in Mumbai.

Job Title: Accounting & Audit Executive

Location: Thane/Mulund/Sanpada

Experience: 3–5 Years

Qualification: Semi CA / CA Inter / CA Dropout

Salary: upto 40k

Notice: Immediate Joiners only

Role Summary:

The Accounting & Audit Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts and supporting audit and compliance activities. The role requires good knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and statutory compliances. The candidate will work closely with seniors and clients to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and trial balance
• Perform ledger scrutiny and assist in finalization of accounts
• Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits
• Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and confirmations
• Handle bank reconciliations and monitor outstanding balances
• Support GST and TDS compliance including returns and reconciliations
• Prepare MIS reports and assist in month-end closing activities
• Coordinate with clients, auditors, and internal teams for data and clarifications

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong understanding of accounting and auditing concepts
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions
• Good command over MS Excel and accounting software (Tally / similar)
• Analytical skills with attention to detail
• Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Semi CA / CA Inter / CA Dropout with hands-on audit exposure
• Experience in a CA firm or professional services environment preferred
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
