We are urgently hiring a Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for freshers or entry-level candidates looking to start their career in IT support. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our users, ensuring their hardware and software systems operate smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software.
• Assist with network connectivity issues and troubleshoot network-related problems.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to improve support processes.
• Provide training and guidance to users on new software and hardware.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issues.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
