About the Opportunity:
Senzcraft is looking for an experienced Looker Platform Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in Looker Core administration, GCP, platform operations, security, networking, and automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, performance, and governance of enterprise-scale Looker environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer the Looker platform, including users, groups, roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Support Looker Core private and hybrid deployments in enterprise environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot GCP networking and connectivity, including VPCs, firewall rules, DNS, certificates, Private Service Connect (PSC), and Private Service Access (PSA).
- Configure and support authentication and security mechanisms including SSO, OAuth, SAML, and service accounts.
- Monitor Looker platform health, troubleshoot issues, and provide operational and performance support.
- Implement and maintain BI platform governance, security, access management, and operational standards.
- Use the Looker SDK for administration, automation, and platform management activities.
- Work with Looker Conversational Analytics API and MCP setup where required.
- Monitor platform usage, audit logs, performance, and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with cloud, security, networking, and data teams to resolve platform and connectivity issues.
Required Skills and Experience;
- Hands-on experience as a Looker Platform Administrator.
- Strong experience with Looker Core administration.
- Experience managing Looker Core private and hybrid setups.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Good understanding of GCP networking concepts, particularly PSC and PSA.
- Experience with VPCs, firewall rules, DNS, certificates, and network connectivity.
- Strong knowledge of Looker users, groups, roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Experience with Looker monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance support.
- Knowledge of SSO, OAuth, SAML, and service accounts.
- Experience with the Looker SDK for administration and automation.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with Looker Conversational Analytics API and MCP.
- Strong understanding of BI governance, security, access management, and platform operations.
Prefered Skills;
- Experience managing enterprise-scale Looker environments.
- Programming experience with Python and exposure to Looker Extensions.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Git integration.
- Experience with monitoring, audit logs, usage analysis, and cost/performance optimization.
- Good understanding of LookML concepts is preferred.
- Experience working with cross-functional Cloud, Data, Security, and Infrastructure teams.
