Position Title : Urban Planner

Work Location : Ahmedabad

Position Summary:

We are seeking urban planning professionals to engage in medium to large-scale, statutory and non-statutory projects for various geographies within the framework of statutory regulations and relevant Acts. In this position, individuals will be tasked with collaborating closely with public officials, civic leaders, and land developers, as well as facilitating public forums to establish optimal land utilization and development strategies.

Responsibilities:

Collecting, consolidating, and analyzing a wide array of statistical data, reports, maps, census information, land use, transportation, and various physical and social infrastructure elements.

Organizing and overseeing on-site surveys and investigations to gain insights into existing land utilization and socioeconomic factors.

Creating visual presentations, drawings, and comprehensive reports for the project, both in graphical and written formats.

Formulating and presenting detailed reports on development proposals to governmental authorities.

Conducting research into strategies and policies applicable to project locations worldwide.

Coordinating and collaborating with both internal and external consultants.

Engaging with the public, government officials, and other stakeholders for the project.

Education:

Bachelor's in Architecture (Mandatory) and Master's degree in urban planning

Experience:

Years: Up to 3 years

Skills (Mandatory):

Skilled user of AutoCAD, ArcGIS and MS Office

Able to manage sensitive and confidential information.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to take initiative and drive projects through its entire lifecycle.

Time & priority management

Skills (Preferred):

Knowledge of GIS and Civil3D.

Theoretical knowledge or experience of urban planning and modelling .
