Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated Junior Analysts with 48 years of experience in risk management and credit analytics to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of unsecured credit products, credit cards, and P&L dynamics, combined with strong analytical and business acumen. This role requires proficiency in SAS and SQL, with hands-on experience in regression and decision tree modeling. Candidates should be adept at generating insights, automating reports, and communicating effectively with US-based managers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform portfolio analytics on unsecured credit products and credit cards, focusing on risk and P&L domains.
- Generate insights from large datasets using SAS and SQL, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Apply statistical techniques such as regression and decision trees to analyze portfolio performance and customer behavior.
- Conduct risk analysis and monitor portfolio trends to identify early warning signals and business opportunities.
- Develop and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Create dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to present insights and portfolio performance metrics.
- Translate business problems into analytical solutions and provide actionable recommendations.
- Work independently to solve problems, generate insights, and deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines.
- Collaborate with US managers and internal teams to ensure clear communication of insights and strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, credit product dynamics, and best practices in risk analytics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, business, or related field.
- 48 years of experience in risk management, credit analytics, or related domains.
- Basic understanding of unsecured credit products, credit cards, and P&L mechanics.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide business insights.
- Proficiency in SAS and SQL (mandatory).
- Experience with regression and decision tree modeling techniques.
- Solid understanding of how credit products work in the real world.
- Effective communication skills, especially for interaction with US-based managers.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Appetite and aptitude for coding and automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Tableau skills for report generation and visualization.
- Experience in risk analytics or P&L management within large-scale financial institutions.
- Exposure to US credit card or unsecured lending markets.
