What you'll own

Administer, maintain, and support enterprise Linux/Unix environments (RHEL, Oracle Linux, AIX, and related platforms) to ensure high availability, security, and operational stability.

Execute OS patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management activities while adhering to change management and compliance requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, performance, and application-related incidents, performing root cause analysis and driving permanent solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects, migrations, automation initiatives, and platform modernization efforts.

Develop and maintain operational documentation, standard operating procedures, monitoring standards, and automation scripts to improve efficiency and service reliability.

What you'll bring

3+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise Linux/Unix environments, including RHEL, SUSE, CentOS, Ubuntu.

Strong expertise in Linux system administration, including user management, LVM, filesystem management, networking, patching, kernel updates, and performance tuning.

Experience supporting large-scale production environments and participating in incidents, problems, and change management processes.

Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash/Korn Shell) and automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, or similar technologies.

Working knowledge of enterprise technologies such as VMware, SAN/NAS storage, monitoring tools, backup solutions, and security/compliance frameworks.

It's a bonus if you have:

Experience with AAPand Google Cloud.

Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and automation frameworks, including Ansible, Terraform, or Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

Red Hat, Linux Foundation, or equivalent industry certifications.
