What we are looking for

Role: Unix Admin

Experience Range: 6 to 12 Years

Location: Bangalore

Interview Date: Saturday Online

Must Have:

  • Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Linux servers.
  • Plan and perform installation, configuration and migration of OS and related hardware and software.
  • Troubleshooting incidents, system problems and handle escalations to vendor.
  • Plan and perform scheduled preventive maintenance, OS patching/upgrades/hardening.
  • Provide system performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Manage clustering (Pacemaker cluster)
  • Fulfil service request and change requests.
  • Manage VMware environment.
  • Work with other teams and vendors where applicable.
  • Provide day-to-day systems administration and operations, including 24x7 standby.
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and shell scripts for automation of system management tasks.
  • Based on the operational experience gathered, design and implement infrastructure improvements for better security, stability, performance, and efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and advice for projects.
  • Maintain the documentation and the configuration.

Minimum Qualification:

  • 15 years of full-time education
  • Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
