Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage Unix system administration tasks, including change management and incident handling (Sev1/Sev2).
Ensure critical issues are addressed promptly and maintain management visibility.
Drive global platform-level changes and work with clients and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation.
Prioritize tasks, manage projects, maintain SLAs, and foster strong client relationships.
Contribute to Root Cause Analysis, operational reports, and system documentation.
Perform system monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Linux and Solaris systems.
Automate tasks using scripting languages (Bash, Python, Perl) to improve operational efficiency.
Manage network and authentication services such as DNS, NIS, LDAP, Autofs, NFS, AFS, and TCP/IP configurations.
Implement and maintain virtualization technologies for efficient resource utilization.
