About The Role
As a University Recruiter at Uber, you'll play a key role in supporting our Emerging Talent Acquisition team and gaining hands-on experience across the full recruitment lifecycle. This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn about Uber's business and the strategies we use to attract top early-career talent.
You will help drive and coordinate a variety of initiatives within the University TA team - including recruitment for our intern and grad programs, participation in internal and external events representing Uber, and active involvement in the experience of our interns and grads. Throughout, you'll ensure a world-class candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for Uber on campus and beyond.
In this role, you'll also develop expertise in university recruitment data and strategy - analysing results, identifying opportunities, and presenting insights and recommendations to drive our broader Talent Acquisition efforts. Collaboration is key: you'll partner closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and the wider University TA team to deliver an outstanding and seamless recruitment process.
What You'll Do
- Support and execute the intern and grad recruiting strategy across multiple organisations
- Partner cross-functionally with hiring teams, the broader Talent Acquisition organisation, and the People team to develop scalable, tailored recruiting processes that prioritise an exceptional candidate experience.
- Build and strengthen relationships between academic institutions and industry teams within Uber to support long-term talent engagement.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for candidates, including both internship and full-time opportunities.
- Represent Uber at student hiring events, webinars, and conferences, acting as a brand ambassador and promoting our early careers programs.
- Develop and refine sourcing strategies for events and conferences, ensuring clear communication and consistent execution across teams.
- Provide data-driven insights and regular reporting to hiring teams and key stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the Early Careers space.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Data-driven mindset - able to provide insights and expertise to hiring managers, and support decision-making through data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborative team player - priorities both the team's success and the candidate experience.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with proven ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple projects effectively.
