Unity Lead Engineer

About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and technically proficient Unity Lead Engineer to join our Digital Twin of Ships team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Unity development and user interface design, who can lead the creation of intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling user experiences for maritime digital twin applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop intuitive user interfaces for digital twin simulations using Unity.

• Lead the implementation of user journey flows and ensure usability across the platform.

• Collaborate with UX and UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional interfaces.

• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices.

• Integrate 3D visualization and simulation components using Unity and optionally NVIDIA Omniverse.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align UI and UX with product and engineering goals.

• Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Your Profile:

• Strong engineering background with 10 to 12 years of experience in UI and UX design and Unity development.

• Proven experience in digital twin technologies, preferably in maritime or industrial domains.

• Proficiency in C# and Unity.

• Experience with wireframing and design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.

• Strong understanding of user journey mapping, accessibility standards, and maritime user interface design.

• Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse is nice to have.

• Experience working within agile development methodologies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
