Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Unity Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Unity development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating high-quality interactive experiences. You will work closely with designers, artists, and other developers to bring concepts to life and ensure smooth gameplay and user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Unity-based applications and games.
- Collaborate with designers and artists to implement gameplay features and functionality.
- Optimise games for maximum performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices into development.
- Maintain existing code base
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Unity 2D & Unity3D, C# programming, Git, Unity's scripting API, Unity's asset pipeline, and optimization techniques.
- Solid understanding of Unity3D including scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management.
- Experience with web sockets and integrating third-party plugins and APIs.
- Knowledge of game physics and particle systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of multiplayer game development.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
- Understanding of shader programming and graphics optimization.
