Role Description The Unity Developer will design, develop, and maintain interactive applications and mobile games that support Magictap's event technology solutions. This full-time, on-site role in Gurgaon involves building AR and immersive experiences, implementing game mechanics, and creating engaging level designs aligned with project requirements. The developer will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other engineers to translate creative concepts into high-performance, stable Unity applications. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, object-oriented code, optimizing performance across devices, troubleshooting issues, and integrating assets and third-party SDKs. The Unity Developer will also participate in testing, documentation, and iterative improvements to ensure reliable delivery of client-facing experiences.
Qualifications

• 3-4 Hands-on Experience in Unity
• Strong programming foundation with proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Unity-related Programming skills.
• Hands-on experience in Mobile Game Development, including building and optimizing games or interactive applications for smartphones and tablets.
• Practical expertise in Augmented Reality (AR) development, creating AR interactions and integrating AR frameworks within Unity.
• Solid Level Design capabilities, including creating engaging gameplay flows, balancing difficulty, and integrating visual and interactive elements.
• Proficiency in Unity engine (2D/3D), C#, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with VR or other immersive technologies, event tech, or experiential marketing is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
