Job Description

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for intermediate chemical plants.
  • Plan and execute monthly production schedules in coordination with QA/QC and Marketing.
  • Ensure availability of raw materials and packing materials in collaboration with the materials team.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
  • Drive production efficiency, yield improvement, and energy optimization.
  • Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, QESH, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Monitor plant performance through MIS reports and initiate productivity improvements.
  • Lead waste reduction, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Oversee plant safety programs including incident analysis, CAPA implementation, and PSM compliance.
  • Support plant capacity expansion and process improvements with minimal capital investment.
  • Mentor and guide production managers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Holds a B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
  • Brings 15-20 years of experience in chemical manufacturing operations.
  • Strong expertise in continuous reactions, distillation, and phase separation processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP, QESH systems, PSM, TQM, and production MIS reporting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and drive operational excellence.
