Job Purpose
This role of Finance PMO supports changes, developments, enhancements to SAP & related systems along with Adhoc activities to keep these systems up to date.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Finance PMO & New system implementation:
Drive end to end Implementation & support new system initiatives. Work closely with cross functional users, IT team for business blueprinting, designing, document business requirements, solutioning, testing & go live, hyper care support. New systems implementation includes SAP ARIBA, SAP HANA, COPA module
- System Change Request Management:
Support Finance & other cross functional users to drive change management into SAP & related platforms. Analyse business use cases, provide off the shelf solutions or carry enhancements in system, perform UAT & Go live & support
- Master maintenance & Controllership:
Responsible for maintenance of critical financial masters like GL, Cost centers, Profit centers, GST tax masters, DOA for expense & procurement as per BOARD approved policy
Ensure appropriate user roles are designed & implemented as per SOD compliance for SAP & all other related platforms
- Ad Hoc / Special Projects
- Drive various process improvement & optimisations projects as directed by SMT
- Stay up to date on new SAP FICO features & functionalities
Key Decisions / Dimensions
Decisions related to optimize solutioning in systems along with IT team
Prioritizations of various business use cases based on business & financial impacts
Decisions related to designing master data like cost center hierarchy, GL master hierarchy
Approval workflow set up as per DOA
- Allocations of work among team members
Major Challenges
- SAP HANA Implementation:
- Dynamic requirement changes & its priorities
- Priorities & de-priorities of assignments basis nature of requirement and impacting roles
- Tight deadlines and Regulatory reporting
- Enhance knowledge upgradation with system changes, law updates.
- LMS PMO & Adhoc Activities:
- Adhoc Projects at time along with regular PMO role
- Timely delivery requirements
- Uncertainty of requirements w.r.t. resources, skills, etc. due to uncertain nature of Adhoc Projects
Required Qualifications And Experience
Chartered Accountant, Commerce Graduate or MBA Finance
Post Qualification experience: 5 Years
Lending systems, SAP, SAP Ariba, Financial Analysis, Audit, Microsoft Office
