Unit Incharge - Dialysis

Supervise and manage all dialysis staff including technicians and nurses.

Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of dialysis machines and equipment.

Monitor patient care and treatment quality in the dialysis unit.

Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and hospital protocols.

Plan and organize dialysis schedules for patients efficiently.

Maintain accurate records of treatments, patient data, and staff attendance.

Train and mentor dialysis technicians and junior staff.

Handle procurement of dialysis consumables and manage inventory.

Liaise with nephrologists, nurses, and hospital management for operational planning.

Monitor and report incidents, complications, or technical issues promptly.

Implement quality improvement initiatives within the dialysis unit.

Ensure adherence to legal, medical, and safety regulations.

Prior experience as a senior dialysis technician, supervisor, or unit coordinator preferred

Strong knowledge of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis procedures

Leadership and team management skills to supervise staff effectively

Ability to manage operations, patient scheduling, and workflow efficiently

Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and hospital compliance standards

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, staff, and doctors

Ability to maintain accurate documentation, patient records, and reporting

Experience in inventory management and procurement of dialysis consumables

Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and record-keeping

Ability to handle emergency situations and patient complications
