Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Banglore for a Unit Chef - Pan Asian Cuisines. The Unit Chef will lead the kitchen by crafting and preparing Pan Asian dishes while balancing efficiency and creativity. Responsibilities include developing, testing, and refining recipes, leading and training the kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and presentation, maintaining stock and inventory for ingredients, and adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Culinary skills in Pan Asian cuisines, including expertise in preparation, plating, and flavor profiles
• Leadership skills for team management, training, and fostering collaboration within the kitchen staff
• Strong understanding of food quality assurance, hygiene standards, kitchen safety, and inventory management
• Creativity and innovation in developing and refining unique Pan Asian recipes
• Effective communication and organizational abilities, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in Pan Asian cuisines is essential; certifications in culinary arts are a plus
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food cost management is an advantage
