Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager Revenue Reporting to lead and manage revenue accounting and reporting activities within the Telecom sector.
The role requires strong expertise in revenue recognition, financial reporting, and stakeholder management, along with the flexibility to travel globally.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in telecom revenue streams, financial reporting, process improvement, and cross-border stakeholder management.
Key Accounting & Reporting
- Lead end-to-end revenue reporting and accounting processes for telecom business operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS 15 / ASC 606 / Ind AS 115) for revenue recognition.
- Review and analyze complex telecom revenue streams, including subscriptions, interconnect, roaming, bundled contracts, and enterprise solutions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reporting and reconciliations.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and management reporting.
- Partner with controllership, FP&A, audit, and business teams for reporting requirements.
- Support statutory audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with global finance, operations, commercial, and technology teams.
- Present revenue insights and reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
- Support finance transformation and standardization initiatives across geographies.
Process Improvement & Controls
- Drive automation and process improvements in revenue reporting.
- Strengthen reporting controls and governance mechanisms.
- Identify risks and recommend corrective actions to improve reporting accuracy.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified CA / CPA / ACCA preferred.
- 7-10+ years of experience in revenue accounting/reporting, preferably within Telecom Client.
- Strong understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 / Ind AS 115.
- Experience with complex global reporting environments preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Comfortable with frequent international travel.
Preferred Experience
- Telecom industry experience preferred.
- Exposure to multinational/global finance operations.
- Experience managing cross-border stakeholders and large reporting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This role requires frequent international travel to support global stakeholders.
