Job Description

Manager - Product - Unified Communications - Cloud PaaS

Product Manager with 5+ years of experience in Cloud or On Prem PBX and Unified Collaboration solutions to drive product KPI's and strategy execution working with Presales, Operations and Engineering teams . This is a customer-facing, solution-oriented role responsible for driving end-to-end product outcome from Solution design, front ending with customer to design solution, build strategy and provides inputs to build roadmap for UC cloud PaaS product.

The role requires close collaboration with engineering, sales, Solution, marketing, pricing, legal, compliance, and risk teams, and hands-on leadership in an development and deployment of UC or PBX or SaaS platform and knowledge on agile product development environment. Strong domain expertise in PBX systems, APIs, and VoIP technologies, along with hands-on deployment and solution experience, will be a strong advantage.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

Translating customer needs into scalable product capabilities.

Guide presales as a customer-facing Product Solution expert.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, pricing, legal, compliance, and risk for product development and positioning.

Lead and be accountable for agile development respective release of a product strategy, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and demos.

Analyze product and solution requirements and define clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Develop, implement, and track production and release timelines across multiple departments.

Own PBX and CPaaS solution design, including IVR, call routing, call recording, conferencing, integrations, and APIs

Create and maintain product documentation, including:

Product and user manuals

Architecture diagrams

Sequence flow diagrams

Regional workflows and solution documents

Coordinate product launches and releases with marketing, sales, and sales support teams

Support pre-sales activities including solutioning, demos, and customer discussions

Continuously monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to improve product offerings

Drive Growth and KPI s for Cloud UC product

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in PBX, Voice API, CCaaS, VoIP, or Unified Communications domains.

Hands-on experience with PBX or UC platform or CCaaS configuration, deployment, or troubleshooting.

Proven experience managing elements of the product development lifecycle in an Agile environment.

Strong understanding of Cloud PBX / IP PBX systems and API platforms.

Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a B2B SaaS or Telecom environment.

Strong documentation and communication skills

Desired Skills & Added Advantage:

Developer or strong technical background, including exposure to:

REST APIs and SDKs

SIP, RTP, WebRTC, and VoIP call flows

Experience working with Voice APIs (Voice, SMS, WhatsApp, Video, Chat).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Amazon Connect, Twilio)

Proficiency in productivity tools such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
