We are looking for a Full Stack Developer Intern who has a strong interest in both frontend and backend development, with particular strength or interest in backend engineering and scalable production systems.

About the Role

As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will work with the technology team on real-world BAOIAM products, platforms and internal systems.

The role will involve developing and improving frontend features while also contributing to backend APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, deployment and scalable application architecture.

We are specifically looking for someone who does not want to limit themselves to basic frontend development and is interested in understanding how production-grade backend systems are designed, deployed and scaled.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend features for BAOIAM's web applications.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Work with Django for backend application development.
• Work with PostgreSQL for database design, queries and optimization.
• Contribute to scalable and maintainable backend architecture.
• Work with Redis and Celery for caching, asynchronous processing and background jobs.
• Use Docker for application containerization and development environments.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Assist with deployment, monitoring and production environment management.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Debug application issues and improve system performance and reliability.
• Write clean, reusable and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers and other teams.
• Learn and contribute to scalable production backend architecture.
• Document technical implementations and development processes.
