UK (Year-End Accounts) Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager for UK Year-End Accounts. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, deep financial expertise, and a sharp focus on process management and service delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a team to deliver the work of the accounts department

Mentor and train juniors to enhance their skills and contribute to their professional growth through effective reviews of their work and detailed feedback.

Support senior leadership by delivering accurate annual reports, monthly performance trackers, and staff efficiency metrics.

Resolve queries from the UK office and collaborate with them to obtain necessary information to meet deliverables.

Utilise accounting tools and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Oversee the preparation and finalisation of FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A accounts for UK clients across various business structures, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders, by proficiently utilising accounting software such as CCH, IRIS, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.

Capable of working independently with minimal senior intervention.

Handle correspondence with clients.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Take ownership of the development of staff within the department.

Set an example for junior staff by maintaining the highest standards in both presentation and work quality
