UK Senior Accountant Reviewer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced UK Accounting Professional with 45 years of hands-on UK accounts and tax exposure. The ideal candidate will review work prepared by junior team members, ensure accuracy, and lead quality delivery for UK clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Review VAT returns, year-end accounts & CT600s, Personal tax

Finalise accounts packs for UK Limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders

Ensure work complies with UK accounting (FRS 102/105) and HMRC requirements

Provide constructive feedback and mentor junior accountants

Communicate with UK managers and client firms when required

Support workflow management and deadline planning

Required Skills & Experience:

45 years of UK accounting & taxation experience (mandatory)

Strong expertise in Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Dext, Taxcalc and practice tools

Knowledge of FRS 102/105, MTD, VAT schemes, payroll basics

Experience reviewing year-end files (working papers, journals, tax comps)

Good English communication skills written and verbal

High attention to detail and ability to deliver error-free work

Preferred Qualities:

Able to take ownership and work independently

Quality-focused with a reviewer mindset

Experience working for UK accounting practices

Willing to mentor & guide junior team members

Experience : 4 - 5

Timing : 1 PM - 10 PM

Working Shift : Day Shift (Onsite)
