Join our team as a Senior Paraplanner, leading complex case research, preparing high-quality reports, and ensuring full compliance across all advice. You'll support advisers with advanced product analysis, oversee application accuracy, mentor junior paraplanners, and help drive cases smoothly from recommendation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive investment research and develop tailored financial planning strategies.
Perform detailed pension research, including analysis of existing schemes and benefits.
Research and evaluate pension switch options to ensure optimal client outcomes.
Prepare accurate financial planning and suitability reports in accordance with FCA and firm standards.
Advise on protection solutions and trusts to support effective wealth and estate planning.
Maintain consistency in documentation standards and templates.
Ensure all client files meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Help in training; deputies for the Paraplanning Manager when required.
Required Skills:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in planning or financial planning with complex cases.
Demonstrated experience handling complex cases independently.
Strong understanding of UK products, lending criteria, and affordability assessments.
Knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance standards.
Proficient in sourcing tools: IO, Defaqto Engage, Ipipeline
Ability to manage complex cases independently and provide technical support to the team.

Pension Switch Research
Construction of Financial Planning Reports
Protection & Trusts
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) or working towards.
Candidates pursuing Advanced Adviser certifications are encouraged to apply.
Other relevant professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
