INVOICING - Aon is a leading global professional services firm that provides a broad range of risk, retirement, and health solutions-including insurance broking and consulting. Insurance invoicing is a crucial part of their operations, connecting clients, insurers, and internal finance to ensure smooth billing, premium collection, and payment reconciliation.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Responsible for preparing, processing and managing invoices related to insurance policies, premiums and claims. This role ensures timely and accurate billing in alignment with company procedures and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with underwriters, account managers, and clients to resolve any billing discrepancies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate and issue invoices for new policies, renewals, endorsements, and adjustments.
• Review policy documents and billing schedules to ensure invoicing accuracy.
• Monitor accounts are receivable and follow up with clients or brokers regarding outstanding payments.
• Address client and internal inquiries regarding insurance billing issues in a professional manner.
• Ensure all invoices comply with company standards and insurance industry regulations.
• Assist with periodic reporting on billing status, outstanding accounts, and premium collections.
• Collaborate with the finance and underwriting teams to resolve discrepancies and support audit requests.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic and paper invoice files.
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes related to insurance billing.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• Understanding of Insurance and Insurance Terminologies, Premium or Claims processing specific to Bureau.
• Understanding of invoicing procedures, accounts receivable, and financial terminology.
• Familiarity with general principles of how premiums and fees are billed and reconciled.
• Well versed with Office 365 specifically MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• Ability to accurately process financial transactions and spot errors or discrepancies in invoices, payments, and policy data.
• Understanding of invoicing procedures, accounts receivable, and financial terminology.
• Able to manage multiple invoices, records, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize workload.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication to interact with clients, insurers, and internal teams.
• Responsiveness to client queries and requests.
