Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a UK and USA Counselor located in Ahmedabad. The counselor will guide students through their career planning, assist with studying abroad processes, including applications, documentation, and visa procedures, and provide insights into overseas education programs. The role involves offering tailored advice to students, responding to queries, and supporting them in preparing for language and entrance exams. Additionally, the counselor will represent the institution in student events and ensure that they have access to updated course materials and relevant information.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills
- Knowledge of UK and USA education systems, study visas, and application procedures
- Ability to provide personalized guidance and support to students
- Experience with career planning for students and advising on entrance and language exams
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Proficiency with managing student records and coordinating documentation
- Team player with good organizational and time management skills
- Experience in international student counseling or guidance will be an added advantage
