Job Description

UiPath Support Developer / Managed Services Engineer

Experience: 3–8 Years

Location: Hybrid

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Flexible to support business-critical production incidents when required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UiPath Support Developer to join our Managed Services team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in both UiPath Development and Production Support, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, debugging, monitoring, and resolving automation issues in enterprise production environments.

This role requires a proactive professional capable of handling L1/L2 support activities, production incidents, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and automation enhancements while ensuring adherence to SLA commitments and maintaining automation stability.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Incident Management

  • Monitor and support business-critical UiPath automations in production environments.
  • Analyze and resolve production incidents within defined SLA timelines.
  • Handle L1 and L2 support activities, including ticket triaging, issue investigation, and resolution.
  • Manage priority incidents, production escalations, and critical support requests.
  • Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend preventive measures.
  • Ensure maximum automation uptime and operational stability.

Debugging & Troubleshooting

  • Investigate automation failures using:
  • UiPath Logs
  • Orchestrator Logs
  • Queue Transaction Logs
  • Robot Execution Logs
  • Exception Traces
  • Analyze failed queue transactions and identify root causes.
  • Troubleshoot retry mechanisms, exception handling, and workflow failures.
  • Independently diagnose and resolve production issues with minimal supervision.

Development & Automation Enhancement

  • Implement hotfixes and production bug fixes.
  • Support minor enhancements and optimization initiatives.
  • Participate in deployment validation and post-production monitoring activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance automation performance and reliability.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Collaborate closely with Development, QA, Business, and Support teams.
  • Provide regular updates on incidents, resolutions, and ongoing support activities.
  • Support business users and stakeholders during critical production situations.

Documentation & Governance

  • Maintain incident logs and support documentation.
  • Document RCA reports, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with support processes and enterprise automation standards.

  • Strong exposure to L1/L2 support operations.
  • Experience working across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments.
  • Proven ability to resolve critical production incidents independently.
  • Experience working within strict SLA-driven support environments.
