The Role
As the Design Lead, you will sit at the intersection of product strategy and creative execution. You will guide a talented team of designers to evolve the Hexnode interface, ensuring our cybersecurity tools feel intuitive, modern, and indispensable.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a high-performing design team, fostering a culture of feedback, growth, and creative excellence.
- Strategic Design: Translate high-level business goals and complex technical requirements into elegant, user-centric design solutions.
- Research & Validation: Oversee user research and usability testing to validate hypotheses and turn data into actionable design improvements.
- Hands-on Craft: Lead by example in the creation of high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished UI components.
- Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the primary bridge between Design, Engineering, and Product Management to ensure technical feasibility and brand consistency.
- Ecosystem Evolution: Maintain and scale our design system to ensure a seamless experience across the entire Hexnode suite.
Who You Are
- Experience: You have 4+ years of professional UI/UX experience, with a significant portion dedicated to B2B, SaaS, or complex enterprise software.
- Leadership: You have a proven track record of managing design workflows and leading teams through the full product development lifecycle.
- The Toolkit: You are an expert in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite. You understand that the tool is a means to an end, but you use them with surgical precision.
- The Mindset: You are a systems thinker. You don't just design screens; you design workflows.
- Communication: You can articulate the why behind a design decision to stakeholders and translate business-speak into creative briefs for your team.
