About the Role
We are offering a 3-month paid internship opportunity with the possibility of a full-time position upon completion.
We're looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to shape the user experience of our EdTech platforms serving universities, colleges, and students across India. You'll design intuitive interfaces for complex educational workflows, from LMS systems to job portals, ensuring our products are both beautiful and highly functional.
What You'll Do
User Research & Strategy:
- Conduct user research with students, faculty, and administrators
- Create user personas and journey maps for different stakeholders
- Analyze user behavior and pain points in educational platforms
- Define information architecture for complex multi-user systems
Design & Prototyping:
- Design complete user flows for web applications (responsive and mobile)
- Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system
- Design intuitive dashboards for different user roles (students, faculty, admin)
- Prototype interactive elements and micro-interactions
Collaboration:
- Work closely with full-stack developers to ensure design feasibility
- Participate in daily virtual meetings with the project manager
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
- Iterate based on feedback from users and team members
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate findings
Design Systems:
- Create and maintain component libraries in Figma
- Document design patterns and guidelines
- Ensure consistency across all platform modules
- Prepare design specs and assets for developers
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have:
- 1+ years of professional UI/UX design experience
- Strong portfolio showcasing web application design (especially multi-user platforms)
- Expert proficiency in Figma (primary design tool)
- Experience designing complex dashboards and data-heavy interfaces
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles
- Knowledge of design systems and component-based design
- Experience with user research methodologies
- Ability to create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and design implementation constraints
- Familiarity with design handoff tools and developer collaboration
Design Thinking:
- User-centered design approach

- Color theory and brand consistency

Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
