Role Overview
As a UI/UX Intern, you will collaborate with our design team to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces. You will be involved in various stages of the design process, from research and brainstorming to prototyping and testing. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting user research and analysis to understand user needs and preferences.
- Support the creation of wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
- Help in the design and development of user interfaces, ensuring they are visually appealing and intuitive.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for improving user experiences.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and enhance design solutions.
- Maintain design documentation and assist in creating presentations for design reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Sketch, Figma, is a must.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio or examples of previous design work (academic or personal projects) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or project experience related to UI/UX design.
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is advantageous.
- Experience with prototyping tools such as InVision or Marvel is a plus.
