The Role:
We're looking for a UI/UX Developer (Part-Time / Contract) who enjoys working in a fast-moving startup environment (FinTech) where design decisions directly shape the product. You'll work closely with the founding team to design intuitive user experiences and translate them into practical, developer-ready components.
This role is ideal for someone who not only designs in Figma but also understands how designs are implemented using React components. Experience with Fintech products will be a plus.
What You'll Do:
- Design clean, intuitive user interfaces and flows using Figma.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
- Design with implementation in mind by aligning layouts with React component structures.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are accurately translated into the product.
- Improve usability, accessibility, and overall user experience across the platform.
- Contribute ideas to refine product UX and visual consistency.
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with Figma (components, variants, auto-layout).
- Practical understanding of React component-based UI development (you don't need to be a full developer, but you should understand how components work).
- Experience designing SaaS or web-based products.
- Ability to balance aesthetics with usability and technical feasibility.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, async setup.
- Clear communication skills and openness to feedback.
