Work Allocation Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Design Leadership

Lead, coordinate, and delegate the creation of wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like

Figma or Adobe XD across multiple independent product teams.

Review and assign program increment design tasks to designers, ensuring clarity of scope, timelines, and

deliverables.

Set expectations for design quality, adherence to standards, and alignment with business objectives.

Serve as the UI/UX SME for the team, providing guidance on design decisions and enterprise best practices.

Design Execution

Lead and contribute to the creation of low- and high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using

tools like Figma or Adobe XD.

Translate business requirements into intuitive user flows and interface designs.

Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to understand application personas, user needs, and application

logic.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with engineers and product managers to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with business goals.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., PI planning, sprint reviews) to stay aligned with delivery timelines.

Continuous Improvement

Incorporate feedback from conducting usability testing, stakeholder reviews, and analytics to refine designs.

Monitor user adoption and propose design changes to improve engagement and usability.

Design System Contribution

Enforce adherence to enterprise design libraries, UI components, and UX guidelines.

Contribute to the evolution of design systems by identifying gaps, proposing enhancements, and documenting

standards.

Conduct regular design reviews to ensure consistency and usability across platforms.

Required Technical Skills

Job Title: Lead UI/UX Designer

Job Description: The Lead Interactive Designer is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for guiding the design team in delivering intuitive, engaging, and visually consistent user experiences across enterprise applications. This role combines creative leadership with design excellence, adherence to enterprise standards, and alignment with business goals. The Lead Designer will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in UI/UX for the team providing the internal service and collaborate with product teams to plan capacity, manage team allocations, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or a related field (or

equivalent experience).

7+ years of experience in UI/UX design for web or enterprise applications.

Demonstrated proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

Demonstrated experience implementing design thinking principles and ability to create personas and user

journeys.

Familiarity with front end web development languages like Angular and ReactJS.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Required Functional/Domain Knowledge

1. Experience with UI/UX for the oil and gas, or process, industries.

3. Leadership and Communication Skill:

a. Proven ability to lead contract designers, assign tasks, and set clear ex+pectations.

b. Demonstrates the ability to effectively work in a team environment, can work across functions to verify requirements and align on business objectives.

c. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrates the ability to effectively work asynchronously across time zones.

4. Business Acumen:

a. Demonstrated ability to quickly gain knowledge in business domains, data, workflows and processes
