Job Description

Job Description: UI/UX Designer (CMS-Driven Digital Experiences)

Role Overview

We're looking for a UI/UX Designer who can translate brand strategy, content architecture, and functional requirements into clean, intuitive digital experiences. Most of our builds run on CMS ecosystems (primarily WordPress, Webflow, and custom CMS modules), so you need to think modular, scalable, and dev-friendly without losing visual sharpness or UX logic.

You'll collaborate across branding, content, product, and dev teams to design websites, landing pages, dashboards, booking flows, and lightweight app interfaces that are fast, structured, and conversion-driven.

Key ResponsibilitiesUX & Product Thinking
  • Convert business goals, wireframes, and functional specs into structured user journeys.
  • Create low-fidelity and mid-fidelity wireframes for website pages, CMS templates, booking flows, dashboards, and micro-interactions.
  • Design IA (information architecture) frameworks that align with SEO, content planning, and growth funnels.
  • Translate complex systems (e.g., booking engines, loyalty flows, multi-step forms, module libraries) into simplified user flows.

UI & Visual Design
  • Build high-fidelity UI screens with a strong sense of typography, spacing, grid discipline, and consistency.
  • Design reusable CMS components/modules: hero sections, card systems, listings, comparison blocks, CTA sections, testimonials, navigation, etc.
  • Develop clean UI kits / mini design systems for each project.
  • Ensure brand coherence across multiple digital touchpoints (websites, apps, email templates, marketing assets).

CMS-Driven Execution
  • Create designs that translate smoothly into WordPress/Webflow modules.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure your designs are buildable, scalable, and responsive.
  • Understand constraints of Elementor, Gutenberg, Webflow layouts, ACF modules, and basic HTML/CSS limitations.
  • Provide responsive design breakpoints, asset slicing, and dev handoff-ready documentation.

Collaboration
  • Work with content strategists, marketing teams, and project managers to align UX with communication goals.
  • Collaborate with dev teams during sprints to refine layouts and interactions.
  • Participate in client discussions to understand requirements and explain design decisions.

Requirements
  • 24 years of experience in UI/UX or digital product design.
  • Strong portfolio with website designs, modular systems, landing pages, and app/flow-based work.
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Figma (mandatory)
  • CMS logic (WordPress/Webflow/Shopify blocks or sections)
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (not for coding, for feasibility checks)
  • Ability to convert abstract ideas into structured, logical layouts quickly.
  • Good command over designing for mobile-first, responsive interfaces.
  • Ability to handle multi-brand parallel workflows.

Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with booking systems, dashboards, directory/listing layouts, ecommerce flows.
  • Understanding of SEO-friendly IA.
  • Comfort with motion/interaction design or creating micro-animations.
  • Familiarity with dev handoff tools like Zeplin/Avocode (optional if Figma is used well).

Traits We're Looking For
  • Systems thinker someone who designs modules, not screens.
  • Fast prototyper comfortable iterating based on strategy shifts.
  • Detail obsessed spacing, typography, responsiveness.
  • Communicator can justify design decisions with logic, not aesthetics alone.
