About the Role :

Joola is looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to own the end-to-end design of our digital products. You will shape intuitive, elegant experiences from research and wireframes through high-fidelity design and prototyping. This is a hands-on role for a designer who thinks in systems, sweats the details, and partners closely with product and engineering to ship work that users love.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Own the full design process from user research and information architecture to wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes.
• Design and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries that keep our products consistent and fast to build.
• Translate business goals and user needs into clear, usable, and visually polished interfaces.
• Build interactive prototypes to test and communicate ideas before development.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to ship designs and iterate based on feedback and data.
• Advocate for the user and raise the bar for design quality across the team.
• What We're Looking For
• 6-10+ years of professional UI/UX design experience, ideally on digital products or web applications.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and design systems.
• Mastery of Figma components, auto-layout, variables, and prototyping.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design and systems thinking.
• Excellent visual design sense and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable presenting and defending design decisions.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end constraints.
• Experience designing for both web and mobile.
• Experience using AI-powered design or productivity tools in your workflow and familiarity with Shopify and e-commerce design patterns a plus.
