UI/UX Designer Intern — Chosenly
About us We're building the AI Search Optimization platform — helping B2B companies show up in AI-powered search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude). It's a fast-moving category, and we're early enough that what you design will actually ship and matter. Bengaluru-based, selling globally. Our vision to build agents that manage your companies entire web presense.
The role You'll own the look, feel, and flow of a product used daily by B2B marketing and CS teams. This isn't a make it pretty at the end role — you'll be in from the start: understanding the problem, mapping the flow, designing the screens, and working with engineers until what ships matches what you designed.
What you'll do
- Design end-to-end flows in Figma — from rough wireframes to polished, dev-ready screens
- Turn dense, data-heavy surfaces (dashboards, tables, editors) into interfaces that feel simple
- Build and maintain our design system — components, tokens, patterns — so the product stays consistent as we ship fast
- Audit existing flows for UX debt: confusing states, missing empty/loading/error screens, inconsistent patterns
- Sit in on user calls and translate what you hear into design decisions
- Pair with engineers during implementation — review builds, catch drift, sweat the details
- Prototype interactions so we can test ideas before committing engineering time
What we're looking for
- Design student, bootcamp grad, or self-taught — portfolio matters more than pedigree
- Strong command of Figma: auto-layout, components, variants, prototyping
- A sharp eye for typography, spacing, hierarchy, and color — you can articulate why a screen works, not just that it does
- Systems thinking: you design components and patterns, not one-off screens
- Comfort with complexity — our product is data-dense B2B SaaS, not a landing page. If dashboards and tables excite you rather than scare you, this is your kind of problem
- Early adopter of AI tools — both as design aids and because you'll be designing AI-powered features
- You take feedback well, iterate fast, and can defend a decision without being precious about it
Nice to have
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS — enough to know what's cheap vs expensive to build
- Motion/interaction design chops (Figma prototypes, Principle, Rive)
- Experience designing for B2B or data-heavy products
- Familiarity with how LLM products behave — streaming responses, loading states, error handling
Logistics
- 6-month internship, PPO based on performance
- Hybrid out of Bengaluru
- Direct mentorship from the founding team
- Stipend: ₹25K/month
