About The Company
Nestology is an innovative startup dedicated to transforming the way parents navigate the early years of their child's development. As an AI-powered parenting co-pilot, Nestology aims to provide science-backed, personalized guidance during the critical period from pregnancy to age three. The company combines advanced technology, developmental expertise, and a user-centric approach to create a trusted platform that supports parents emotionally and practically. Nestology's mission is to replace confusion and guilt with clarity and confidence, empowering parents to make informed decisions and foster their child's growth in a nurturing environment. The team is passionate about building a product that is not just functional but also emotionally supportive, ensuring that every parent feels understood and confident in their parenting journey.
About The Role
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join Nestology as a founding member of our early team. This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience of our platform, ensuring it resonates deeply with parents during one of the most emotionally charged phases of life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, with an ability to translate complex developmental concepts into simple, reassuring interfaces. This role goes beyond aesthetics; it involves designing intuitive, calming experiences that support parents through their daily routines and developmental milestones.
You will work closely with the founders, engineers, and early educators to craft seamless app flows, trackers, AI interactions, and personalized learning journeys. Your work will influence how parenting guidance feels in the modern digital age, balancing empathy with usability. This is an opportunity to create a meaningful product that has the potential to positively impact countless families, making a difference during a pivotal stage of human development.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have between 4 to 8 years of experience in UI/UX design, particularly within consumer-facing products. Experience designing mobile-first applications in sectors such as health, education, fintech, or consumer technology is highly valued. A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to think in terms of user flows and mental models rather than just screens is essential. You should be sensitive to the emotional context of users, especially parents who may be anxious or sleep-deprived, and be adept at balancing aesthetics with usability and cognitive load.
Comfort working in an early-stage, ambiguous environment is crucial, along with a genuine passion for building products that are meaningful rather than just viral. Familiarity with design tools like Figma, and collaboration platforms such as Notion or FigJam, is expected. Basic understanding of React Native constraints is a plus, as it helps ensure designs are feasible for development.

- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with technical constraints.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system that embodies Nestology's calm, premium tone and ensures consistency across all user touchpoints.

- Work on a meaningful project that you can be proud of, with the potential to showcase to your own family and community.
- Flexible work arrangements, with options for remote or hybrid work, preferably based in India.
