About The Role
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to join our innovative team at Schbang Labs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing engaging, user-centric interfaces for our flagship projects, including Second Brain and BrainJump. This position requires a creative individual with a strong portfolio of live projects, demonstrating expertise in translating complex product requirements into intuitive and aesthetically appealing digital experiences. As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design solutions are not only visually compelling but also technically feasible and aligned with the overall product vision. Your work will directly influence how users interact with our products, making their experience seamless, engaging, and impactful.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2 to 2.5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record demonstrated through a comprehensive portfolio of live projects. A strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards is essential. Candidates should have proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Figma (preferred), Sketch, and Adobe XD. Additionally, familiarity with building responsive designs for both web and mobile platforms is required. Knowledge of design systems, typography, color theory, and accessibility guidelines is crucial. Exposure to basic frontend principles like HTML, CSS, and React will be advantageous. Experience with motion design and prototyping tools such as After Effects or Principle will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI for Schbang Labs projects, including Second Brain and BrainJump, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Translate product requirements and business goals into intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, backend engineers, and frontend developers to ensure design feasibility and technical alignment.
- Conduct usability testing sessions, gather user feedback, and iterate designs to enhance user satisfaction and interaction quality.
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while exploring innovative design solutions that push creative boundaries.
- Document and maintain design systems, components, and style guides to ensure scalability and consistency across multiple projects.
