About The Role
As a Senior UI/UX Designer at Squint Metrics, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional user interfaces and experiences for our suite of data analytics products. You will own the entire design process, from initial research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototypes and seamless developer handoff. Your role will involve building and refining our Figma design system, utilizing advanced tools such as Figma Make and AI-assisted workflows to accelerate design cycles without compromising quality. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the visual and interactive aspects of our products, ensuring they are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with our brand standards.
This role is within a product-based environment, meaning you will focus on designing for our proprietary platforms and tools that we develop, ship, and iterate on internally. Deep understanding of typography, color theory, responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and platform-specific guidelines (iOS HIG, Material Design) is essential for success in this position.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess 5-8 years of experience in product UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating shipped web and mobile products. Expertise in Figma is mandatory, including mastery of auto-layout, variants, component properties, variables, prototyping, and library publishing. Experience with Figma Make or similar AI-powered design tools is highly desirable. Candidates should have proven experience in building and managing scalable design systems and reusable component libraries. Deep knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA, ARIA, inclusive design principles, and familiarity with platform-specific guidelines like iOS HIG and Material Design are required. Strong skills in documentation, version control, and working within Agile/Scrum teams will set successful applicants apart.

Figma Make & AI-Powered Workflow
- Leverage Figma Make to rapidly prototype and iterate, transforming concepts into interactive prototypes within hours.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools for initial drafts, content variants, accessibility audits, and efficient handoff, maintaining high-quality standards throughout.
Collaboration, Quality & Innovation
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders; lead design reviews and critique sessions.
- Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
