Description
In this role, you will support the exploration, design, and prototyping of product experiences for Source Asia's supply-chain platform, while also contributing to custom ERP solutions for client-specific workflows. You'll help investigate problems, explore concepts, and translate ideas into clear, usable interfaces, working closely with a small, cross-functional team across design, product, and engineering. Your work will span different stages of designfrom rapid explorations and interactive prototypes to iterative refinements and polished UI assetsbalancing user needs with real operational and technical constraints. This role values curiosity, attention to detail, adaptability, and thoughtful problem-solving as you build practical design solutions for complex, real-world systems.
Responsibilities
- Explore and develop design concepts through sketches, wireframes, UI designs, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma and comparable design tools.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to incorporate feedback and improve design solutions.
- Participate in design discussions, critiques, and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and learn from others.
- Support the iteration and refinement of designs, balancing clarity, usability, and delivery timelines.
- Clearly communicate design thinking, assumptions, and decisions within the team.
- Maintain a curious, open mindset and actively seek feedback to improve your work.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with iterative UI/UX design processes, including sketches, wireframes, UI design, and concept development.
- Strong working knowledge of Figma and comparable UI/UX tools.
- Ability to create simple interactive prototypes and understand time-versus-complexity tradeoffs.
- Clear visual, verbal, and written communication skills to explain design decisions and rationale.
- Comfort collaborating with product, engineering, and other stakeholders in a cross-functional team.
- Interest in designing for complex workflows, information-dense interfaces, or systems-oriented products.
- A portfolio or sample work demonstrating thoughtful UI/UX design across academic, personal, or internship projects.
- Recent graduate or final year student pursuing a bachelor's in design or a related field.
