Job Responsibilities Include:

• Partner with clients and colleagues in the creative, research, strategy, and technology domains to understand business objectives, user goals, and technical constraints
• Contribute throughout the UI design process by understanding current state, brainstorming solutions, developing design systems and designs of increasing fidelity, and supporting development teams.
• Develop and communicate visual and branding standards (fonts, colors, imagery, iconography, interaction, etc.)
• Own visual communication of concepts (develop visuals designs, sketches, images, presentation decks, etc.)
• Develop and communicate standard UI patterns
• Prepare and present solutions to internal teams and key stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in design / HCI / Related Field, or equivalent work experience
• 5 years experience in UI Design and/or Visual Design
• 5 years of an online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating solid experience designing responsive web and mobile applications
• 5 years experience in one or more of the following: common design tools (Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.), prototyping tools (InVision, Axure, etc.), and collaboration tools (Abstract, Sharepoint, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of deliverables such as mood boards, sketches, annotations, visual comps, prototypes, illustrations, icon systems, and design systems
• Capability to produce intuitive, user-centered designs across multiple channels and devices
• Understanding to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed
• Strong client (presentation) communication skills and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
• The capacity of understanding activities such as identifying UI requirements, developing design concepts, design thinking, sketching, and development support
• Ability to partner closely with developers, QA and product managers to rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback and technical constraints

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $98, 348.00-$227,656.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
