We are currently seeking a User Interface Developer with expertise in responsive frameworks to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with responsive front-end libraries such as Bootstrap and Tailwind and will be responsible for optimizing our existing CSS to utilize these frameworks. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong C# skills for tasks such as minimizing CSS and working within CSHTML files. Proficiency in JavaScript is required, and experience with JavaScript libraries such as React is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities include:
This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the front-end code while ensuring smooth transitions our home-grown CSS to a standard modern framework.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain user interfaces using responsive front-end libraries like Bootstrap and Tailwind.
- Optimize existing CSS to integrate with front-end frameworks.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to implement C# code for minimizing CSS and working in CSHTML files.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient JavaScript code.
- Enhance user experience by implementing best practices in UI/UX design.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and devices.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
- Participate in scrum rituals, including sprint planning meetings to ensure that the team understands their objectives and has committed to completing their work on an agreed-upon timeline.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a UI Developer or similar role.
- Extensive experience with responsive front-end libraries such as Bootstrap and Tailwind.
- Strong proficiency in CSS and optimizing CSS for frameworks.
- Previous experience migrating a website from custom CSS to a CSS framework.
- Solid understanding of C# and experience working with CSHTML files.
- Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with JavaScript libraries such as React.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other automated build/deployment tools.
- Service-oriented mentality with a true 247 support and service mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team and independently in a hybrid work environment.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience with Azure, AWS or other cloud based mobile services.
